From Cranebrook to the Blue Mountains

circa 2011.

It’s Australia Day 2011, I wanted to check out the vintage car show in the CBD but the boyfriend wasn’t keen on taking the train all the way to the CBD from Penrith so he compromised and suggested we go to the Blue Mountains instead… of course I agreed, I’ve never been, I was taking my time travelling around Sydney.

Now we begin, can’t miss posing next to the ‘Echo Point’ sign.

I have asked about a hundred times why it’s called the ‘Blue Mountains’. According to the boyfriend, it’s because of the eucalyptus and when the sunlight hits it, it makes the mountain appear blue. He’s a very reliable source.

I’ve since added more holes into that belt.

It’s only a few minutes walk to get to the ‘Three Sisters’ where you can actually touch the rock formation.

Here we are, with our matching shirts not to mention he drives a yellow car too (not anymore).
