From Taft to Manila Ocean Park

circa 2008

One uni day afternoon my friends and I decided to empty our wallets and fill our afternoon with activities.

Our first stop – Manila Ocean Park, a 20 min drive away from De La Salle University. I remember paying about P500, about A$15. That was a lot for a university student, to spend on an entrance fee. It was fairly new when we visited. Today, they have myriad of activities. From sharks and rays encounters to spending a night at their fancy Hotel H2O hotel, with an aquarium as your bed head.Manila Ocean Park

I’m definitely a kid at heart, up to now.

Second stop – Go Kart! I’ve never done a real race track before. Let’s just say the staff had to pull me out off the tracks.

I lost but there’s always revenge.

Third stop – Bowling at Mall of Asia. This time, I won! What did I say about revenge?

Last stop – early dinner at Fish & Co. at Mall of Asia. It was my favourite fish & chips until I moved to Sydney. 🙂 Nothing beats having fish & chips right at the beach.
